Once the seller confirms the initiation of a ticket transfer, keep an eye on your email inbox. You should soon receive an email from the team itself with a subject line, "You have just been forwarded..." or [email protected], typically bearing the subject line, "Congratulations (your first name...)" Most often, this email will arrive in close proximity to our communication, so it's advisable to inspect your inbox shortly after you see our message. Upon finding the email, simply follow the step-by-step instructions contained within to add the tickets to your account. Sample email received on phone:
- Check to see if you have the MLB Ballpark app on your mobile device. If you do not have the MLB Ballpark App download this for free now from the iOS or Google Play Store.
- Make sure if you are signing up to utilize the same email you both placed the order and received the transfer email to
- Click "Accept Tickets" within the email, the button will be green.
- Open the MLB Ballpark app, make sure you sign in using the email where you received the transfer.
- Within the App tickets should be present, if not hit the Tickets icon on the bottom - if the tickets are not present wait 5-10 minutes and then hit Refresh (bottom right screenshot below)
A couple of other important tips:
- If your MLB Ballpark App is set up with the same email you used to make the purchase on our site, you can head directly into the app to both accept the ticket transfer and access your tickets.
- You may need to hit "Refresh" within the MLB app and it can take 5 or 10 minutes before transferred tickets are available within the app.
